An Online Writing Workshop: Holy Imagination
Touching the Sacred, Expressing the Soul
As writers, poets, or artists of any genre, we know firsthand the reality and power of the imagination. With imagination we can build new worlds or suffer and die in old ones. With holy imagination, we create a new paradigm for seeing with the heart and spirit as well as with the eyes.
Holy imagination is a higher-octave (or higher-octane) imagination, associated less with changing what is as with celebrating it. Bravely, holy imagination engages intuition, myths, archetypes and symbols, rituals, images of the divine, along with the sacred roots of art and language.
In this gathering, we will join together to prime our inspiration and work with the tools ofholy imagination to enhance and vivify our contemplative life-of prayer, of writing, of art.
Registration details will be sent out in August. Save the dates now. For questions, contact Regina Sara Ryan.

A Weekend of Practice and Study with Zen teacher and author, Richard Reishin Collins
IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU or is it?
A Weekend of Practice and Study with Zen teacher and author, Richard Reishin Collins
You sometimes hear students speak of “my” zazen or “my” practice, as though Zen practice concerns only them, or even worse that it is something they have some ownership or control over, as though it is up to them alone. This phrase “my practice” is insidious because it assumes that it is about you yourself alone. The more one practices, the more one realizes that “you” are just the beginning. —Richard Collins, No Fear Zen, 22.
This is a weekend for all beginners, whether they have a long term, regular meditation practice or not, and with whatever spiritual tradition they align. The opportunity to visit, deepen or revisit practice as if for the first time is essential at every stage of the Path.
Please join Richard Reishin Collins and other friends for this rare program of talks (teisho), discussions (mondo) and sitting-practice periods (zazen) in the desert sanctuary of Triveni Ashram, Paulden, Arizona. No experience is necessary. Bring an open heart/mind and the willingness to start from zero.

Triveni Youth Program 2022/23 Introductory Weekend
This workshop will lay the foundation for our work together. We will focus on healthy ways to express emotions such as fear, anger, sadness, shame, and joy, and on how to invite more excitement and aliveness into life. Through dance, art, sharing, and conversation we will explore the basics of emotional intelligence and getting to know your True Self, outside of the roles and masks we sometimes wear. We create safe spaces for sharing and connecting, allowing us to build friendships based on acceptance, respect, and vulnerability versus judgment and mistrust.
