TRIVENI ASHRAM

Founded by American spiritual teacher Lee Lozowick and his students, Triveni Ashram is located on two hundred acres of pristine land in the high desert of central Arizona. As a sanctuary for students and friends of the Western Baul tradition, people of all backgrounds, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, education, religion, or spirituality, are welcomed to come and practice.

Built according to ancient Vastu principles (the sacred geometry of India) with environmental impact and sustainability in mind, the ashram houses a meditation hall, library, two guest houses, a communal kitchen and dining room, a gift store, an organic garden, walking trails, and private cottage dwellings for ashram residents.

Visiting Triveni Ashram

Visiting Triveni Ashram provides rich opportunities to deepen your inner life and spiritual practice alongside a community of others who are doing the same. Guests are invited to participate in daily meditations, seva (service), weekly meals, and dharma talks and/or for special events, workshops, retreats, and celebrations. Solitary retreats are also available upon request.

The daily rituals and practices offered at Triveni Ashram have been gleaned from Lee Lozowick’s teachings and lineage over the past forty-five years. The lineage gurus–Swami Ramdas, Yogi Ramsuratkumar and Lee–were universal teachers who encouraged an embrace of the spiritual teachings of all cultures and religions. Some residents and guests choose to participate in these rituals and practices while others explore and deepen their own contemplation and practice.
